After practicing the Lotus sutra for 26 years, I got a strong inclination to read the actual book of the Lotus sutra in order to understand the real essence of the Sutra.
I read the book "THE SUTRA OF THE LOTUS FLOWER OF THE WONDERFUL LAW" translated by Senchu Murano which is the direct translation of the original Sanskrit version of the Sadharma Pundarika Suthra, I read it over and over again about fifty times during a period of one and a half years.

The Lotus Sutra in essence inspires us to believe and seek refuge in the wonderful and miraculous power of the Buddha. (the mystic law which Buddha achieved) to face and win the challenges of our day-to-day life. It enables us to empower our soul to ultimately attain Buddhahood.
Believing in the divine power of the Buddha is very difficult as it is unfathomable. You have to only believe it, but how can you believe in a power that you cannot see, you cannot generate or cannot feel the presence of that is why it is difficult to practice the Lotus Sutra. To believe in the Lotus Sutra and to start practicing you need courage. Once you start the practice you will be able to believe it as you will experience its power, when it facilitates your day-to-day life activities.
The supreme truth is that Buddha volunteered to save us and he assured us that all living beings in the Saha world will be saved without exception.
